We went on a four hour charter with Captain Mike in June. The fishing was okay at best. We fished for red drum with mud minnows. We caught about 4 drum and a stingray.  Mike was very knowledgeable and shared lots of fishing tips with us. He was attentive to our rods and helped us learn how to saltwater fish. He moved our day and time to try and get us the best fishing window possible for this time of year. We will book again. Thanks Mike

Captain Mike was very personable and was exactly what five limited anglers needed. He was happy to help give positive instruction and guidance, and his knowledge where to go was top notch. Within the first hour, it was as if he was just another one of friend group with casual conversation and interactions. Bringing home Redfish to put on the grill was the bonus…and it helped that he fileted them when we return to shore. We’ll look to join Captain Mike and Salty Seas again.

After not catching anything for the first 3 and a half hours of our 4 hour trip the captain found a spot that we started to catch some fish. Rather then cut us off at 4 hours he let is catch enough to feed our group that was gishing and 6 more that weren’t.

Captain Mike did a great job guiding 6 grown men on the trip. Fishing was tough according to everyone out there. We managed to catch 16 fish. We had several to pull off. Had several we just clearly missed. So we had opportunity to have a outstanding day to be the dog days of summer. Would definitely fish with him again and recommend him for your next trip or your first trip.

We didn’t have much luck, but we had a nice day on the water. Mike took us to all of his favorite spots, but it was just a hit-or-miss day in February. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with him and will be back!
