  Jason was an excellent, knowledgeable, and a very enthusiastic captain. Even though the fishing forecast for our planned event was rated very difficult due to the mayflies hatching and larva covering the top of the lake, which meant most of the walleye population have had already eaten and no doubt contebt, we were still able to bring home enough fish for the evening‘s dinner. He was very patient not only with my father and myself but also with my two children who were aboars. He’s an excellent teacher and was very kind and patient. I highly recommend his services if you’re planning a trip to Oneida lake!

  Great fishing trip!

  Jason was an outstanding captain and made the entire fishing trip enjoyable from start to finish. He kept all of the rods rigged, bait fresh, and lines in the water so we could focus on fishing and enjoying the day. The action was steady, and we had a great catch that included walleye, perch, and sunfish. Jason shared helpful tips throughout the trip, worked hard to keep everyone on fish, and ensured everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend booking a trip with Jason.   To put it simply Jason is a pro. He knows these fish. He knows where they are, What they want to eat and when they want to eat. As an avid fisherman I know “getting them to eat” can be challenging at times. But that’s fishin’. My experiences with Jason have been excellent. We do a lot of catchin! Jason’s boat and gear are top notch. He’s friendly and easy to talk to. He doesn’t bust your chops if you “horse one” and lose it. What more could you ask for in a guide. I’ll be back next year!

  An excellent experience with Jeremy, we limited out! When I really knew he was a pro as when he filleted our fish to perfection he actually got the cheeks out, which are a delicacy to me. What a great day highly recommended!

  Action Packed Fishing Day!

  Cayuga lake, 6hr, Lake trout on April 4, 2026 • 2 adults

  We have been on charters all over the US and Jamaica. This was one of the best. We have never fished for trout but that did not prevent us from catching our limit. Capt Jason talked us through it and coached us along the way. We had a blast! We will be back and will book again. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Thanks for making our trip memorable and filling our freezer Captn. Jason.
