We had a fantastic time on our charter with Captain Doug. From start to finish, his communication was excellent and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.
Captain Doug is incredibly friendly, helpful, and full of great stories that made the trip even more memorable. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a good time and had everything they needed. His knowledge of the local waters and inlets was impressive, and it was clear he knows the area like the back of his hand.
We truly appreciated the effort he put into making the day special for everyone on board. We look forward to booking another charter with Captain Doug in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

Been coming to O.C. for many years and have never fished in the bay / inlet.ย Capt. Doug was a wonderful host.ย Easy to talk to and my wife and I enjoyed our conversation.ย Weโre roughly the same age with grown children so lots of stuff to talk about.ย I would describe the fishing today as okay.ย While Iโm not an expert Iโve fished enough in different formats / locales to know that you donโt slay them every time.ย But we did catch fish (mostly my wife, ha !) including fluke, sea bass and the strange looking sea robins.ย Unfortunately the flounder were a little under the size limit so weโll be eating out tonight !ย Iโm looking forward to another outing with Captain Doug and would recommend him to anyone.

Doug was a very friendly, helpful, generous, and engaging captain.ย The fish werenโt biting much on the day we went out, but Doug kindly stayed out far longer than our scheduled time to make sure we did reel in a few flounder.
It was pleasure fishing with you and the boys. You were very patient and they showed considerable knowledge regarding fishing tecniques and perspectives. I would gladly fish with you anytime!

We had a super time. It was a birthday gift for my husband & we both caught fish but he caught the 2 winning flounders. Our captain, Doug, was so friendly, knowledgeable & had lots of fun stories!ย Great expert& weโre planning to do it again.
