I booked this trip as a treat for a visiting relative. We had a fabulous time! Captain Cesar and his mate took such great care of us, I cannot praise them highly enough. I will definitely book again.
Yesterday we went out with captain Jorge and his crew with @majo fishing lodge. They were wonderful and I look forward to booking with them again in the future. Even thought tge weather conditions were not in our favor. They didn't stop and I even caught a sailfish. I give the. A 10 out of10. If you are looking for an incredible crew to take you fishing give them a shout.
There were 3 couples in our group. We booked a 6-hour fun fishing trip with Majo and we are so glad we did!!! In fact, we wished we’d booked the longer fishing trip we were having so much fun!! We had an absolute blast!! The boat was clean and in excellent working order, including the bathroom!! The crew was great!! The deck-hand especially!! We ended up with 1-yellowfin, 2-bonitas, 1-Mahi and 2-sailfish(released). The deck-hand made fresh sashimi from the yellowfin and let me tell you…..IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SASHIMI I’VE EVER HAD!!! Absolutely DIVINE!!! That was the icing on the cake for me!!! My husband and I are already talking about making a special trip to Panamá and doing a fishing charter with Majo!!! Book with Majo, you won’t regret it!!

Beautiful location but people need to do their homework. Not sure when the fish are here but it isn't in late January as my research showed. We have fished everywhere from Hawaii to Africa and everywhere in between and always caught fish. The crew worked hard but no fish.
Than u sir, we waiting for you for your next trip, we recomend to you for Pelagics and Billfish May to November, the top it’s June, July, agust,September, October. January to April it’s bottom fishing time, for the weather changes, and the cold water for the windy season, so the best months it’s Febrary , march and part of April but in April start to change to raining season, and in may start to entrance yellowfin tuna, big mahis; + June start to entrance a big cardumes of sailfish + July entrance blue marlin and black marlin , all thease to aprox 15 Dec, and start to go down and disappear. This is how it works in the Gulf of Panama. In another areas in Panama like Coiba and Piñas Bay the season it’s different. So when if you want catch Pelagics with us in January to June we offer Piñas for min 3days. You are welcome here always, we are here to serve u and we want to wait you for your return.
