Well the fish were being lazy today, especially those Rainbows, so we had some periods where the only thing we caught was rays of sun. But Jim worked hard and aggressively to figure out what aroused the fish that day. We tried traveling east and west back n forth, nothing, then Jim said well let's try this, we turn Noth in a straight line and BAM bite after bite after bite, 0 to 100 in 5.2 manning the poles. Jim had found them. Loved opening up bridges to start and end the trip, but nothing nothing about this trip beats being chased by 9 seagulls, as we are traveling at a high speed pace while Jim is gutting the fish. The Gulls were so close you almost could touch them. IT WAS AMAZING the wonders of nature. Yes the seagulls stoled the show lol.

    captain Jim was the best captain I’ve had the pleasure of fishing with. Had a small family trip only 4 of us, we didn’t catch as many fish as we wanted but the ones we caught were big. Jim and his wife Anita were first class answered any and all questions, very knowledgeable of the lake and what we needed to do to catch fish. Allowed us to help him set lines out after showing us how to do that. Great teamwork. Will definitely go back. Thanks Jim and Anita Mike Powell

    Captain Jim and his wife were absolutely amazing! They took incredible care of my boys and me and put us on some BIG salmon. We had a wonderful morning together, and the memories we made will stay with me forever. Thank you, Captain Jim and Blue Max Fishing. We can’t wait to join you again soon!

    Jim and Anita were amazing. Friendly, informative, very knowledgeable. The day was foggy but the two of them put us on the fish and were able to catch lake trout, salmon, and rainbows. Hopefully we can make it again and make another excellent memory.

    Boat had a lot of flies

    I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent family fishing trip. We scheduled a 6-hour charter, but we were forced to cut the trip short and leave after only 4 hours.The conditions on the boat were unacceptable, as it was swarming with flies. Furthermore, the fishing experience was extremely poor; during our 4 hours on the water, we caught only one fish.Our family paid a significant amount of money for this excursion, and we did not enjoy it at all. Given that the trip was cut short

    hello Alex, we did what we could with the trip. The flies are beyond our control. your your wife Rita expressed how clean the boat was when she came on it and was pleased with the boat A longer trip would allow us to get to new fishing areas which could have resulted in better results for the number of Fish. You decided to come in early not me teenage boys are always a question if they’re gonna be interested enough to come out on Lake Michigan  God bless you take care
