Larry did a great job of stayong positive and worked hard. He had plenty of spots to fish. I was picky—looking for permit on a fly rod—so focusing on that meant passing other opportunities. Larry knows his stuff and his boat in incredible! Best O have ever been on and I have foshed all over the Caribbean. The only thing that would have made this the “best trip ever” was landing a permit. Next time!
Yes, Jason had a singular tough target - one of the most difficult sportfish to catch let alone on fly! but that is the fun of it, an impressive challenge. He gets a lot of credit for sticking with his pursuit of a permit on fly.
Capt Larry was very knowledgeable, and the equipment was great. He was extremely hard working, trying his best to get us hooked up.
Enjoyed guiding father and young tween/teen son Saxxon who brought great energy and as fishing is not a guaranteed results sport it was a challenge this morning for their half day charter. More time on the water may have helped.
I just wanted to share that I had a fantastic time fishing with Larry recently. We caught a variety of fish, and I truly loved being on the water. Larry is such a great guide - he really knows how to make the experience enjoyable!
Had an awesome time guiding Jade and her father Lloyd on their first guided charter and they did a great job, with Jade bringing in Snook, jumping a tarpon, and catching black drum and trout plus big jacks. Enjoyed guiding sister Brittny shown here with a juvenile tarpon.
Capt Larry quickly adapted to my son and my level of skill/desired fish and led us on a great fishing experience. You have a great day when you catch different types of fish and lose count of the catch. The bonefish was the ellusive catch of the day. Highly recommend!
