I recently booked a fishing trip charter with Captain Michael out of the Clearwater Beach / Belleair Bluffs area, and it turned out to be a great day on the water. The highlight was hooking into this absolute beast of a snook—a beautiful 40-inch trophy that fought like a champion! It pulled drag hard, made powerful runs, and gave me an epic battle. Captain Michael was right there coaching me through every step—giving calm, expert guidance on when to reel, when to let it run, and how to keep the pressure on without losing it. Thanks to his coaching, I was able to land this stunning gamefish, which is easily a catch of a lifetime.
The boat was comfortable, the scenery was gorgeous (perfect Florida sunshine and water views), and Captain Michael made sure the entire experience was safe, enjoyable, and successful. If you’re in the Tampa Bay / Clearwater area and want to target big snook or just have an outstanding day fishing, I can’t recommend Captain Michael and FLP Fishing Charters enough.
