We told him we were interested in catching our dinner, but that more than anything we wanted to hook some fish and he made sure we did both! It was a tough day with the fish not biting, possibly due to a weather front moving in the next day, but Captain Jimmy wouldn’t give up. We went to a bunch of his known spots and tried multiple fishing techniques and we were able to catch five different species of fish with three keepers and great eating. A good friend and I booked a 3 hour jigging charter with Captain Jim. Due to a booking error on my part, our availabilities didn’t match and we were headed out the day we could make our trip. Jim not only met us early, but put everything he had into putting us on fish. We trolled with planer rods, top water, everything we could outside of jigging as the jigging had been slow.
