Fisher was a great captain and guide on lake ouiachita. It was a bit of a slow day for the fish, but Fisher left no stone unturned and is an absolute southern gentleman. We caught some fish, learned a LOT from his experience, and enjoyed a perfect morning on the lake. I expect to see this young man in the big tournaments some day.
4 hr trip with Capt Fisher (Travis) caught plenty of fish to include walleye yellow bass spotted bass big bluegill and catfish! Captain was right on time boat and equipment was ready to go. Fisher was very knowledgeable and super easy to talk to. I chose to use Captain Fisher because he was young therefore I thought he would be a go getter and boy was I right he works hard to put on fish and keep you on the fish! My bride and I have fished from Alaska to Maine and I would put Capt Fisher at the top of the list! If your passing through Mt Ida I highly recommend hooking up with Captain Fisher!!!

Fisher was on time, polite, easy to book with. I went in Aug with my 11 year old son and we both had a great time catching bass & catfish. He’s knowledgeable, willing to teach and knows what he’s doing. 100 percent recommend!!
We had a great time fishing! Our boys loved sihing with Fisher and caught a lot of fish. He taught them alomg the trip. Great experience for everyone. Great trip for our family of 4. We would definitely book another trip when back in the area. He provided all the gear, bait and water. Our boys also brought some of their gear, but didn’t really use it.
We had a great day with Capt. Fisher . Very knowledgeable guide on a beautiful lake . Ouachita is definitely one of the most beautiful lakes in the country . Fisher put us on the fish early and often . He had good equipment and the care he took with our catch during our day and after shows his respect for the fish .
We went out for an afternoon with two of our boys and we’re all rookies at lake fishing. Fisher was very personable with all of us and catered our experience to our level. We caught plenty of fish for a fresh fried meal at the marina and a few extra pounds of filets to take home. Our 10yo caught at 5+lb largemouth and has been beaming all evening. Definitely built a core memory :)
