Great trip but…
I booked the trip via Fishingbooker, paid and received confirmation email for the 8am trip. Next day I receive a call from captain Zack, informing me that he needs to cancel the trip due to being double booked at 8am. I asked why would he cancel my reservation and not the other person’s; needless to say, he offered me 1:30pm trip, same day, which inconvenienced me and my guests, as we had to change all day plans to make it to 1:30pm trip. When we got to the location, we did not leave at 1:30pm but 2 pm as captain Zack was delayed with the previous client, who I had the chance to chat with, while we were waiting for his fish to be cleaned by captain Zack. I learned from the conversation that they are regulars and Zack always takes good care of them; maybe that’s the reason my confirmed trip had to be canceled or re-scheduled? Zack is great but he needs to understand that a confirmed reservation needs to stay and the start time needs to be accurate as we pay for the hours. Yes, Zack did not extend the trip to make up to the lost time nor apologized for making us change the trip for him to accommodate the “regular”. Great trip but…

Thank you for your feedback Bogdan, when you had booked the trip I explained to you that the calendar and the fishing booker calendar did not sync and let you book that trip so I offered you the option to do the afternoon. As far as showing up late the first trip did not start on time either as we had trouble catching bait in the morning that is why your trip was delayed. When we pushed off the dock it was 1:45pm we arrived back to the dock at 5:45 and didn’t finish cleaning your fish till 6. No time was lost on your trip.
