We had a great time out on the water with Capt. Mike. I explained to him it was our first time fishing in years, let alone a nearshore experience! We caught a variety of fish but got to take home some snapper to cook up after our trip for lunch! We saw a dolphin, variety of birds and a manatee! Captain Michael was great with my family. I took my 15 year old, 7 year old, 6 year old, and 4 year old and they all had a really good time. It was a tough day getting the fish to bite but the captain kept switching up hook sizes and baits and all the kids ending up catching a few fish each. Fishing in Florida was on my “to do” list for this vacation and I am so happy I decided on Captain Michael Blecher’s 4 hour river trip!  We caught several varieties of fish and I even got “snookered”!  (Hooked a big Snook and before I could reel him all the way to the boat, he jumped up in the air, flipped his head and spit out the hook!). Coming back along the river the sunset was a stunning sight.  I’ll be back for another run with this captain and crew!
