Our family (5 sons ranging from 21 yrs to 7 yrs) had an awesome time today!! Captains Denis and Reid along with deck hands, Chance and Jordan were amazing!! They made the trip! So helpful, knowledgeable and kind to our group, greatly assisting our 7 yr old and all of us! Chance and Jordan were absolutely thee best! And yes, we did catch fish! Alot of fish! We had an amazing experience with Big John Charter Fishing! The boat was in excellent shape, extremely clean, and very comfortable for our family. The cool cabin was especially important for our younger children and made the trip much more enjoyable during the heat of the day. Our group of three dads and four kids, who have very little deep sea fishing experience, had a wonderful day. The first couple of spots we went to didn’t have many bites, but the captain was determined to send us back with fish. He took us to another spot that had tons of fish… We all caught our limit - a great result for a boat full of novices The two deck hands were great guys, and we enjoyed chatting with them.

Came for a family trip including three generations!  We have nothing but great things to say about our experience today!  The boat was clean and in excellent shape. The crew was knowledgeable and super helpful.  We had a great time!  Caught lots of red snapper which was expertly cleaned up for us at the end of the day. Highly recommend as an experience you won’t forget!

Had a blast aboard the Big John!  Caught a ton of vermillion snapper and triggerfish.  Captain put us on the fish and kept us on them despite an unexpectedly rough day on the gulf.  Matt and Jordan were rockstar deckhands.  They were extremely helpful with our crew of mostly first-timer teenagers.  Will defintely be back! Highly recommend!
