What a great day! We’ve charter a dozen or more fishing trips through the years, and this was the best we’ve ever had in the Carolinas. Cpt Nick was knowledgeable, prepared, and THE BEST with our two young boys (7&11). He taught me some techniques I didn’t know, and he helped our boys get some really big (8 lb) flounder and REALLY massive red drums. He has a super nice boat that is really well taken care of. Captain Nick was fantastic. He’s so patient and easy going, made sure everyone was having a fun time. We caught several fish, including an amazing flounder that he fileted for us, which made for a delicious dinner. I highly recommend booking a 4-hour trip with North Island Charters.

My fiance and I signed up for a fishing charter trip (our first one ever) and we did the sunset 2 hr trip thinking 4 or 5 hrs would be too long but after our experience with Nick we could go all day.  It was so much fun. Weather was pleasant but super windy. In spite of this, Captain Nick put us on the fish. I hooked a 32” redfish(the biggest of my life! I’m 61)and we moved to another location and finished out the morning fish with a mess of speckled trout to bring home and grill for dinner. We caught lots of specs, but as always, they seem to be just under the keeper limit. We still had a great time and Captain Nick was very hospitable
