Great Day On Lake Ida with Captain Brett

Zac turns 12 on July 18th. He wanted to celebrate his 12th birthday in style! To mark the occasion, we embarked on an unforgettable dad son fishing adventure. We set out at 6 :30 AM with the renowned Captain Brett Isackson to conquer the waters of Lake Ida in Florida. The day was nothing short of extraordinary as we reeled in an impressive haul of 22 Peacock Bass and Gar, all while braving the fierce strikes of numerous elusive Snakeheads. It was a birthday celebration filled with excitement, skill, and unforgettable memories that Zac and I will cherish for a lifetime.

    An Unforgettable Father-and-Son Fishing Adventure with Captain Ricky! 🎣✨

    Half Day Trip - 2:00 PM • 2 adults • 1 child

    My seven-year-old son and I, visiting from Austria, spent a week in Florida and decided to book a four-hour afternoon fishing trip with Captain Ricky from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation. Captain Ricky took us to several different fishing spots, and we caught three different species of fish – each one a completely new experience for us and species we had never caught before. For my son, this was a truly unforgettable adventure, and I enjoyed every minute of it as well. The exciting boat rides, the great conversations, Captain Ricky’s helpful tips and knowledge, and of course our fishing success made this trip incredibly special. We will both remember this experience for a very long time and can highly recommend Captain Ricky to anyone looking for a fun and memorable fishing trip in Florida.

    Awesome day - 5 species!

    We had a fantastic time with Captain Dawson. He put us on five different species, including clown knife, largemouth, mayan cichlid, and snakehead. The fish were all good size and four of us caught something. I missed a PB largemouth, but that just gives me more reason to go back :-) Dawson had a beautiful boat, top quality gear, and a friendly and knowledgeable personality. Could not have asked for more - we will definitely go again next year.

    Awesome day with Captain Brett! Great time and lots of memories made! We were wanting to catch Peacock Bass and we caught that and more! Brett is very knowledgeable and helpful! Our son graduated from college and this was on his bucket list. Book this guide!

    we went out with Captain Bobby yesterday amazing time. Very courteous had a cooler full of drinksfor us. He is very knowledgeable about the area we definitely plan on booking again in August. it was a agreat 16th birthday for my son. THANK YOU Captain Bobby!!

    Great trip, great captain!

    John was a great captain and got me on the fish very quickly. We caught Peacocks, Large mouth, Oscars, Gar, etc.. If a spot got quiet we moved from it quickly. Highly recommend this trip. This trip would be good for any level angler.
