Fred is a great guide and very knowledgeable about not only Rend Lake but the surrounding area’s lakes. He is very personable and experienced. You can’t go wrong with Full Moon Fishing Service.

My wife and I chartered a morning outing, and everything was fine.  We caught several good sized Crappie, more than I expected considering that it is the middle of July.  We then fished for some catfish just for fun, releasing all of them back.    Fred Mooney is certainly an experienced guide who we will use again when we are fishing in Southern Illinois.  I highly recommend him.
