Miguel is a great fisherman and host. We saw different monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, and birds on the way out. This area is so nice that I would have been happy with just cruising around. But, we caught peacock bass and Oscar on top lure and live bait. Catching a peacock bass was a lifetime goal for me and we got two big ones. Totally recommend! I will be back! Thanks Miguel!

Captain Miguel was kind enough to introduce us to Monkey island while moving around several fishing locations. Miguel's boat is very adquately powered so your not spending more time traveling to the fishing spots than fishing. Miguel managed the time very well, and happily accommodated our request to focus on Peacock bass fishing. Finally, Miguel keeps your safety and well-being at the forefront of your experience; we we're Very Satisfied with all of the fish that we caught, and highly recommend. Mariposa
Our morning with Captain Miguel was outstanding. The boat was comfortable, and he took extra care for the safety and comfort of our group, some of whom were older and required greater physical care. He was a wonderful guide, taking us to see monkeys, finding the best places to fish, and even spotting an iguana swimming across the lake on our way back. We'd most definitely book with Captain Miguel again.
