We thoroughly enjoyed the the trip with Captain Taylor!  He managed the boat, the gear, and assistance in landing the fish and still time for conversation.  We took home some great fish and had a wonderful time on the bay.  Thank you!  I highly recommend Prime Time Fishing Charters.

We had a fantastic time.  There were six of us with a total weight of about 1500 lbs.  We were told by friends and coworkers we would need a bigger boat for almost a ton of man but it worked out okay.  We caught 14 fish including 2 Cogo, a King, 5 lakers and some Cisco.  Taylor was our captain and did an excellent job finding fish, managing the tackle and driving the boat.  Would highly recommend and will be booking with him again next year.

I’m not the one who usually writes reviews but booking this charter trip have been absolutely amazing! I’m fairly new to fishing and yet I wanted to book something new & exciting for my fiancé and I to enjoy. I didn’t know what to expect on this trip but Captain Jerry and Taylor did a wonderful job making sure we were both comfortable on the boat and putting us on some great fish. I’m certainly going to rebook with them whenever I’m back in Michigan for the summers; recommended their charter to a lot of friends & family. Great people, great customer service and overall a greattttt time :)

So we showed up at 530 in the morning and wouldn’t you know there was a huge storm and we couldn’t go out. Captain Jerry was very accommodating and allowed us to pick a time later that day to go out since ethe storm as around for the next 4 hours or so. I was afraid we would have got lost like Gilligan if we would have tried to fish so we came back and the skipper and his son were great. They were full of information and good stories. The fishing was a bit slow, likely due to the storm, but we caught 2 very nice lake trout over 8.5 lbs each and then hooked into a mother of a salmon. She was 23 pounds (biggest of the year so far). Wore my friend out. The captain and son did a great job of making sure she didn’t get away and helped my friend keep the pole taught so she didn’t slip off. She was a beauty and we enjoyed her thoroughly later that night. We had a couple tangles that the captain and helis son set a land speed record getting untangled so we could be back in the water fishing again. I can’t say enough nice things about these guys. Great family, captain and experience fishermen. I highly recommend them. You won’t be sorry. Thanks guys for everything.

Booked a full day trip and the lake trout were biting so good we hit our max before we reached a half day. So we got our fish cleaned and fulfilled all our wishes in just a half day! This gave us more time to enjoy all the other things that Traverse City has to offer. Great captain (Jerry) and first mate (Taylor) very laid back and personable! Needless to say we had a blast!!! Would recommend 100% ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
