Julian is a friendly and highly skilled fishing guide. He located the fish and gave us excellent advice on how to successfully catch them. Money well spent, highly recommended.
Myself and my 2 boys spent 3 hours on Lake Rotoiti with Julian. It was a tough day for fishing but he worked hard to put us onto 4 solid Rainbows including a cracking 3.5kg fish to finish the morning. My boys were stoked. He really knows his stuff and was a pleasure to share a boat with. Just wish we were in a position to do a longer trip! Highly recommend getting on board.
Had a great 4 hours on Lake Rerewhakaaitu on a chilly morning with my two boys. Luckily skipper "Captain Julian" reminded us to bring warm clothes. Landed 9 rainbows with a few getting away. Glad to say the big one did not get away, this beast caught by my youngest. Thanks Captain, from 1st mate, 2nd mate, and cabin boy. Dries.
Julian picked me up early and off we headed. While the boat was being lauched I caught 2 trout. That was the start to a fabulous day. In all we caught about 13 trout - all released back into the lake and my PB of 4kg. Best for Jullian as well. Will certainly recommrnd this trip and will be back to do it again.
Julian the captain was an absolute amazing man. on the day of the trip it was the first time me and my granddad had been fishing for 13 years together and Julian help Grandad on and off the boat held great conversations and made our day absolutely amazing together. will 100% be coming back
Julian was a great host sharing his knowledge and experience to make a memorable day for three generations. We walked away with big smiles and some great fish.
