Great trip, the Crew handled the choppy seas that were not forecasted (forcasted calm real world 2-3 ft). We all caught lots of fish despite having to move around to dodge dolphins. Overall the day was a good one with 50 fish caught for 5 anglers.

We’ve done the party boat trips before but we really didnt want a crowded boat this time. Captain Wes is very affordable for a private trip! The bite was slow today and he did warn us that the fish weren’t biting like they normally do, but we all still caught fish and it was a blast! I would absolutely recommend him to anybody else looking for smaller private trips that wont break the bank! I will be reaching out to him next time we come down for vacation to go again!

Captain Wes Ivy was unavailable, so Captain Wayne Alexander from Just Add Water Charters in Niceville stepped in. I told Wayne I hoped for action and variety. Action? Check, 19 fish. Variety? Check, 4 red snappers, 8 vermilion snappers, 4 gray triggerfish, 1 scamp, 1 grunt, and 1 sand perch. We fished out in the Gulf of America/Mexico. I would recommend both High-Flying Saltwater Charters and Just Add Water Charters.

Wes had us on fish right from the start, and we would actually leave biting fish to catch bigger ones. I was able to knock a few fish off of my list I'd never caught before. We had a superb trip and would recommend Wes to anyone.

This was a wonderful trip and my 3 children from 2 years old to 11 years old had so much fun. They loved learning how to fish and caught about 20 fish. My little one and I enjoyed the boat ride and dolphins! I think people of all ages and experiences would enjoy a trip out on Captain Wes's boat. 2 hours went by fast so you might want to book longer times. My kids can't wait to go back.

Both Wes and Stephen were great captains. There were 6 of us with the youngest being 3yrd. They put us on fish at the first spot. We caught enough vemillion snapper to have a good meal. Then they took us to another spot and caught some bigger fish. Their boat was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the boat ride and catching fish. They tried to cater to what our expectations were. Captain Wes communication was great. We had such a great time. If we come back we will definitely use this charter again.
