Skip the bobbers and bait this time and let Captain Craig Brown share his passion for sight fishing in the beautiful salt marsh of Savannah, Georgia.

We offer full and half day sight fishing charters for up to 2 anglers. With over
40 years experience sight fishing with fly and light spin tackle, you will be experiencing Georgia's Coastal Empire the way it was meant to be…standing on the bow of a skiff. Gliding across flats, slipping between oyster bars and stalking thick spartina shorelines we will be sight fishing one of the best redfish fisheries in the world. (Depending on the season Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle and more may also be targets.)  We also offer instructional trips, where we will spend the day improving your flats fishing and deepening the addiction.

For Capt. Craig,
fishing is more than just catching fish. It's about what you see, feel and learn along the way. It’s about making and sharing memories. It's about ending the day with just a little more than when you started it. With a reputation as an excellent teacher, Capt. Craig is committed to sharing what he has learned over the years and working hard to make sure you get the adventure you came for.

You’ll be fishing from the bow of the legendary Maverick Mirage HPX-S . It’s a purpose built 'magic carpet' designed to provide a soft dry ride on the way to the grounds and then let you fish in less than 7" of water when you get there! With the ability to cross big water and fish super skinny flats, the fish have nowhere left to hide.

The beginning of your Savannah Sight Fishing adventure is just a click away.

Half Day Flats Fishing on June 7, 20232 adults

Captain Craig was on time ready and “patient” with my fiancé who had never fished before took time to give tips and pointers with her. Gave us a great trip that we will never forget and put my first red in the boat all while seeing the sights of what Savannah inshore fishing has to offer awesome experience!!

Jeff, Thanks for hanging in there today. You and Gail worked hard and kept smiling. So happy that the water finally cleared for us and you guys got it done! An inshore slam plus some. Really looking forward to getting you on the bow again soon.

Half Day Flat Fishing w Captain Craig

Got to watch a beautiful savannah sunrise. Some dolphins scared our fish away, but an overall fun trip! Enjoyed seeing some dolphins though!

Response from Captain

Abbie, So happy you and Parker chose to spend part of your Anniversary trip fishing with me. Thought for sure we were in for a great morning when we found that redfish school right at sunrise. Unfortunately, that pod of dolphins found them too! Definitely a struggle after that, but I really appreciated the way you two kept working and smiling. I hope you enjoyed the beauty of the Savannah salt marsh just the same! Thanks for the kind words, I really enjoyed having you guys in the skiff.

Truthfully, I have always just loved to fish. I remember renting little jon boats with 9hp tiller motors to catch Flounder in the back bays with my dad from when I was 4 and slogging through waist-high mud to get to a little creek and catch Catfish after Catfish after school. Since then its been a non-stop ride raising 2 boys and chasing fish. From fly fishing for 6" Brookies in a Poconos stream to chasing Stripers up and down the beach to spearfishing weed lines in the canyon, I just love to fish and catch fish!
