People of all experience levels are welcome at Benny’s Guide Service. Captain Benny will make sure you have a great day out on the water – his main aim is to make you happy!

You will spend the day aboard a 26’ center console. Originally built in 2019, she is powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 38 knots. With these speeds, you’ll be at all the best fishing spots in no time. The fishfinder, paired with Capt. Benny’s extensive knowledge, will have your lines in the water reeling in the fish of your dreams before you know it.

His shorter trips are great for people who would like to stay in sight of the shore. You’ll still be able to target the same species as the longer trip, which makes this a great introduction to nearshore Texas fishing. The T-Top will keep the sun off of you, and the comfortable seats mean you can sit and enjoy the music Capt. Benny will have playing, all while waiting for your turn to fish.

Everyone is welcome on these trips. There is no minimum age for kids, so as long as the parents are happy then Capt. Benny is happy too. Life jackets are provided for the little ones, but for maximum comfort Capt. Benny does recommend parents bring their own for the kids.

You can expect to target a wide range of fish on these trips. Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Redfish, Red Snapper, Kingfish, Sheepshead, and Blacktip Shark are all species you can expect to reel in. After your trip, the captain can drop off your catch at a fish cleaner where you can have it filleted at an extra charge.

You will need to bring along plenty of water and any snacks that you fancy. A Texas fishing license will also need to be purchased before the trip. On the day, you can buy bait for around $25 per person. The rods and reels will all be provided for.
