You'll be traveling on board a 20' California center console, built to safely transport up to 3 guests to the hottest offshore fishing grounds around. There's room on board for you and your family or friends to fish at the same time, no matter whether you're trolling, jigging, or bottom fishing. Your vessel's decked out with top-notch navigational gear, life jackets, and an ice box to store your catch in. Children are warmly welcomed aboard, so make this a family adventure to remember!
Your captain specializes in targeting seriously huge big game fish, and can't wait to help you land your very own monster Mahi Mahi or Marlin. You'll also have the chance to hook into Grouper, Red Snapper, and Yellowfin Tuna. If you are deciding who to choose for your fishing trip, its easy- choose Capt Edgar! My wife and I are beginners and Captain Edgar made sure we were anglers by the end. We caught 6 fish, 4 species, includng a 35lb Mahi that we had for dinner that night! Edgar was incredibly professional and the boat was cleaned and well cared for. When we got back to the dock Edgar cleaned and fileted our mahi. He then took us to La Costa restaurant located right by the dock and gave our fish to the chef and told her we would be back for dinner. When we went back, Tony the server took great care of us and we had mahi tacos and grilled mahi with garlic and it was delicous! We did a lot of research and are so glad we went with Captain Edgar. He had the best prices with no hidden fees. Make sure you do your homework because some of the charters will charge you up to $850 pesos for a license, charge you for bait, and other charges they dont mention up front. With Captain Edgar all of that is included. You can't go wrong with Captain Edgar for your fishing in the Sea of Cortez!
We had to deal with Hurricane Priscilla earlier in the week, which closed all the Cabo ports. We really wanted to fish on this trip, and Edgar made it possible. We took a beautiful drive from Cabo to La Paz to avoid high winds and waves on the Pacific Ocean. This drive was better than Route 1 in California! Easy, modern, toll-free highway all the way there and an even better drive back to Cabo with the sun setting over the Pacific. Let me be debunk the 'Facebook' crowd. There is no danger on this drive. No cows in the road, etc. A cow can't even get down to the roads. The worst is a few potholes. Now, let's get to fishing. The Sea of Cortez is completely different with the most gorgeous water and shades of blue. Edgar worked hard to put us on the fish. He was very flexible as we were running a little late from Cabo Wabo last night. We landed several quality fish and even lost 'the big one.' I highly encourage fishermen visiting Cabo to make the easy 2 hour drive to fish with Edgar. Edgar speaks perfect English and has a very calm disposition. The perfect trip ensued. Priscilla! Captain was fantastic!!! Going out on the water is not a guarantee to catch fish. He did a great job of putting us on the dorado. We cought more than enough fish to eat for days. can not stress enough how much id recommend choosing him for your mext charter.

Had a great time! Took my daughter with me and the captain taught us how to catch grouper. We are pretty good fisherman from the East Coast of the US, but grouper is a different game. Lost maybe 5 or 6 but kept going to eventually catch one. We also went mahi and yellow tail fishing toward the end, but didn't get any because we ran out of time. But we were OK with that since we checked the bucket list with the grouper. Highly recommended! Captain was great!
Had a great day solo fishing with Captain Edgar. Caught some dorado and trgger fish. Edgar was very poessional and personable. Would recommend!
