Meet the beauties and variety of Belizean marine life with Captain Nato. Captain Nathaniel (Nato) Verde has over 20 years of experience as a fishing guide and he’s also a native in the biggest fishing community of Belize. He will take you fishing on the northern side of the island and partly central Belize, which include inland lagoons, rivers, reefs, and wadeable flats.

Capt. Nato will take you fishing on his 24’ flats boat, newly built in 2017. There’s enough space for 2 guests to fish in comfort. The boat is powered by a 70 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. She also has a poling platform, coolers, and a live bait tank.

You can fish the saltwater flats for Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefish, backcountry for Snook, or go in the second largest barrier reef of the world for Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and Barracuda. You can do spinning or fly fishing, just inform the captain in advance to check if he can supply fishing equipment.

The trip also includes snorkeling equipment upon request, lunch, water, and other soft drinks. After the trip, he will clean and fillet your catch. The only thing you need to prepare in advance is your fishing license.
