For your next trip to New Jersey, you’ll want to spend a day fishing with Captain Alan of Nightwatch Sport Fishing. He’s a local to the area and has spent a lifetime fishing the waters out of Barnegat Light. As well as being there every step of the way for you on your trip, Capt. Alan will point out local wildlife and tell you about them – ecology and the moral way of fishing are both very important to him.
You’ll spend the day on his 22’ Kencraft boat that has plenty of space for up to 4 anglers to fish from. The boat is decked out with safety and navigational gear, including a fishfinder and GPS. It also features a T-top to provide you protection from the sun. Pair this with Capt. Alan’s 5 decades of fishing experience, and you’ll be on the fish in no time!
You’ll mostly be using light tackle to target Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke, Seabass, Weakfish, and more. You’ll be trolling, spinning, jigging, or popping on a trip with Capt. Alan. Feel free to bring along your own fly fishing gear if you’d like.
Children over 10 are welcome on board and will have life vests provided for them. Children will have a great story to tell their friends back at school after a fishing trip with Capt. Alan. The boat is non-smoking.
Included in the price of the trip are all the conventional, spinning, trolling, and baitcasting rods and reels. The captain will provide all bait, live or artificial, depending on which species you’ll be targeting. This is prepared before the trip for you. Your catch that can be kept legally will be cleaned at the end of the trip.
You’ll need to bring along a small cooler of food and drinks. Don’t forget your sun protection and polarized sunglasses, and you’ll be ready for a top day out.
Book a trip with Nightwatch Sport Fishing for an unforgettable fishing trip with Capt. Alan.
