Join Pipe Dream Charters on the Pipedream III and explore the beautiful Amelia Island out of Fernandina Beach! With a crew made up of tournament champions with a positive attitude, Pipe Dream Charters will make sure you have fun while putting you in the best possible position to catch fish.
The Pipedream III is a 37’ custom-built sportfishing boat. It’s powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines to provide a fast and comfortable ride to the offshore fishing grounds. The boat has everything you need to find the very best fishing spots on your trip. It can accommodate up to 6 anglers.
With outriggers, downriggers, and a center rigger fitted on board, and well maintained Penn and Shimano gear, the Pipedream III gives you the opportunity to know what it feels like to fish professionally for the day. After a fun productive day, the crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home for a taste.
These are fish-rich waters, so prepare to come across a variety of species. Before booking your trip, decide whether you want to troll offshore for species such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, and Marlin, or to fish the reefs and wrecks for delicious Grouper, Amberjack, and Cobia.
Whichever option you decide to go for, the experienced crew will be with you every step of the way to help you land the trophy fish. The captain’s superior knowledge of the local waters will make sure you’re in the best position to find the fish of your dreams.
Don’t hesitate to turn this into an amazing family experience, so bring your kids and teach them all there is to know about fishing. There will be snacks and drinks on board, but feel free to bring your own. Pack some sun protection as well, and you’re ready for some fun!

We had an unforgettable deep sea fishing trip that exceeded every expectation! Capt. Scott
and First Mate Jimmy were absolute pros—knowledgeable, patient, and a ton of fun. Even when the seas got rough, they kept everyone safe, smiling, and reeling in fish left and right.
From barracuda to snapper to cobia, the action never stopped. The crew went above and beyond to make the day amazing, and it truly felt like a private charter experience. Highly recommend this trip and this crew—worth every mile offshore!

Did a last minute 4 hour offshore trip with family that came into town with Captain Scott and Jimmy and they were great. Everyone caught fish from Red Snapper, Grouper, Bull Red Fish, and Black Sea Bass. Boat is very comfortable with plenty of space for people to sit up out of the elements on the ride out to the fishing grounds.

10th Annual Father / Son Fishing Trip
8 Hour Trip – Offshore on June 27, 2025 • 2 adults
My son and I have been doing this fishing trip every year now for some time. This was by far the best fishing trip yet. Between boat owner Scott Thompson and first mate “ fish head Jimmy “ these guys make up an amazing dynamic duo. Excellent customer service and truly passionate about their trade. The fishing was amazing and with Scott’s advice of taking our catch to Kichen 521 gave us an amazing ocean to table experience. The Pipe Dream III is the complete package and my son and myself are excited to return next year. 5 Stars all the way

Perfect Day on the Water!
3 hour Family/Kids Trip on April 16, 2025 • 1 adult • 2 children
We went out for an Inshore morning charter. Captain Scott and First Mate Jimmy made the trip for my 12 and 13 year old boys. We caught 10 fish and a few bonnet head sharks. We have been on several charters at other locations, but never had this much fun. Jimmy’s stories kept the kids entertained between catches. It was windy getting to our fishing location and the Pipe Dream offered the perfect protection from the wind and waves that my family appreciated. Overall, a perfect 10!
