Northern Lights Adventures welcomes you aboard! Sail out of Port Superior Marina into the Apostle Islands with Captain Sean and Savanna. They have been fishing at Lake Superior for many years and have lots of knowledge to share. Join, whether you're just looking for a relaxing day on the water or a new fishing trophy.

Get comfortable aboard a spacious 30' Tiara. This boat accommodates up to 6 guests and offers enough space for all anglers to fish in comfort. She's powered by twin 350 HP Crusader engines and reaches the speed of 30 knots. The boat features a private bathroom, a fully functional kitchen, and a lounge you can rest in.

Embark on one of specially curated Salmon and Trout fishing charters and boat tour adventures. Choose between a half day and a full day trip and how far offshore you want to go. The captain will do his best to maximize your chances for a great catch.

All fishing equipment is included in the price. The crew provides comfortable Onyx brand water-activated life vests (much more comfortable than typical bulky PFDs) and they're additionally equipped with Type I PFDs as required by the USCG. Tiara yachts are made in Holland, MI and their quality and safety are top of their class.

Great morning fishing and enjoying unusually calm waters on Lake Superior

AM - Half Day Trip – Nearshore on October 8, 2025 • 5 adults • 1 child

My wife and two sons were up from Kentucky visiting friends in Ironwood and we wanted a good Lake Superior fishing experience. Northern Lights with Capt Sean and first mate Josh gave us just that. We got out early on a cold October morning but were instantly rewarded soon after the lines hit the water. We caught several nice Coho Salmon and the waters were smooth and perfect. The day slowly warmed up  and we enjoyed chatting with Sean and Josh throughout the trip. The boys both reeled in their very first fish and we all shared in their excitement. A very memorable day on the water!

Couldn't afford Alaska, so really wanted to catch salmon. was not disappointed! 2 king, 2 coho and some lake trout. great experience.

Northern lights fishing charter

Full Day Trip – Offshore on August 4, 2025 • 5 adults

Captain Sean and Al were very friendly and helpful. Made a great lunch and had plenty of snacks and beverages. Fishing was the best we've ever had on a charter trip. 6 of us caught over 20 Lake Trout. 2 were over 32 inches. Kept our 12 and threw the rest back. The boat was very nice. We would definitely recommend, and we'll be back. Thank you!!!!
