These waters are known for Brown Trout, Steelhead, Lake Trout, Walleye, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that's dinner!
Capt. Dave welcomes you aboard a 21' Aluminum fishing with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a Wisconsin fishing license with the Great Lakes Trout stamp. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. A few items to bring include snacks, drinks, sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Beautiful day, caught a lot of fish including lake trout, brown trout, coho salmon, and one big king salmon. Captain Dave was very friendly, knowledgable, and patient and taught my 15 yo son and I so much about Lake Superior fishing. So worth it!!

I took 2 of my boys and their cousin on a birthday trip and booked with Casting Nets and Captain Dave. What a great guy! This adventure felt more like a trip with a family member than a stranger. He was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun and would absolutely do it again. Thank you, Dave!!
