He offers land-based fishing trips that are exciting for all ages and backgrounds and also provides practical training and guidance.
Wayne's trips are tailored to suit the needs of all skill levels and he'll provide as much assistance as necessary. You'll have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of light tackle fishing, from spinning and casting to fishing lines and bait.
You'll be supplied with top-quality rods and reels, as well as live bait and lures. He also provides comfortable chairs to fish from, in addition to blankets, a gazebo, and a cooler filled with beverages and snacks. Your fishing license is also included, so no need to make any extra stops before your trip. Included for lunch is South African braai/barbecue.
Wayne will pick you up from your hotel, Airbnb, or wherever you're staying, as long as it's within a 10 km radius. If you wish to drive alone, there's free parking available as well.

Secret location you are guaranteed to catch Carp or catfish or trout or bass.
You'll be taken to a beautiful safe wine farm, inside of which exists a giant dam with a quarry & ablutions stocked with various fish species. Here, you'll be able to target African Sharptoothed Catfish, Carp, Brown and Rainbow Trout, and Largemouth Bass.
All species are to be released back into the water, except for the invasive Catfish.

We had the most amazing day fishing with Wayne. My son was very keen to catch a fish whilst being on holiday in the Western Cape. Wayne did not disappoint! He caught a Cat Fish and Carp and he was absolutely delighted! Wayne showed great enthusiasm and kindness on our day together. He was as very knowledgeable and helpful. Wayne knows exactly what he is doing as has such high respect for the fish. Wayne's priority was us having a good time and he did not disappoint. We had the most fabulous day, a once in a life time experience in authentic South African surroundings. I would absolutely recommend Wayne for this fishing experience, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for making our son's holiday complete.
Wayne is a great guy and very caring for his guests. He organized a seamless fishing trip. Very friendly, offeren Snack, Drinks and a generous Braai. We fished with multiple rods for better chances. I caught 12 fish at a catch&release pond. The catfish fishing in the river was unsuccessful despite big efforts, as they were not biting that time. Wayne is also a licensed tour guide and personal driver and he showed me some cool places while we were on the road. Will definitely do another tour with him!
brought my 4 year old as he wanted to catch a fish, Wayne made the trip extremely special and we caught a bunch within 4 hours.
I recommend this trip to every. you will have a great day!!!
