We had the most amazing day fishing with Wayne. My son was very keen to catch a fish whilst being on holiday in the Western Cape. Wayne did not disappoint! He caught a Cat Fish and Carp and he was absolutely delighted! Wayne showed great enthusiasm and kindness on our day together. He was as very knowledgeable and helpful. Wayne knows exactly what he is doing as has such high respect for the fish. Wayne's priority was us having a good time and he did not disappoint. We had the most fabulous day, a once in a life time experience in authentic South African surroundings. I would absolutely recommend Wayne for this fishing experience, you won't be disappointed. I was picked up by Wayne early and drove to the fishing spot which was a disused quarry stocked with fish Wayne was very friendly and enthusiastic ensuring I had all the possible avenues to catching a fish There were many rods set up with different baits and burley When the fish hooked I landed them Im not sure it is catching the fish more landing the fish Wayne had a bbq lunch arranged which was great I am an avid fisher person and fish whenever I can in different places in my travels ,just to see what’s there and how others fish It was a great experience and Wayne’s enthusiasm was the best Overall 12 fish were also landed and released Aussie Marilyn

This fishing excursion is well worth it if you like catching fish. I caught a tremendous amount of fish as Captain Wayne and his crew kept my poles baited and ready to go. He even supplied me with beer and sodas to drink. Captain Wayne went above and beyond to make the excursion memorable.

The captain is very kind. He worked hard to catch a lot of fish, so we caught many big carps. The captain himself set up the tent, started the fire, grilled the meat, and took care of everything. Then he fulfilled our request to go to winery for wine tasting. Our whole family was very happy! Thank you so much. captain! Better if you clean inside of the car and outdoor chair.

brought my 4 year old as he wanted to catch a fish, Wayne made the trip extremely special and we caught a bunch within 4 hours.

Wayne is a great guy and very caring for his guests. He organized a seamless fishing trip. Very friendly, offeren Snack, Drinks and a generous Braai. We fished with multiple rods for better chances. I caught 12 fish at a catch&release pond. The catfish fishing in the river was unsuccessful despite big efforts, as they were not biting that time. Wayne is also a licensed tour guide and personal driver and he showed me some cool places while we were on the road. Will definitely do another tour with him!
