If you plan on fishing in Cape Town, look no further than Fishing Valhalla. We deliver world-class deep-sea experiences where guests safely and confidently pursue the giants of the Atlantic, guided by passion, precision engineering and owner-led commitment to excellence.

Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Skipjack, Yellowtail Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, and more can be found in these waters, depending on conditions. On these trips, it’s common to use multiple techniques including trolling, drift baiting, popping and topwater stick-baits.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!

Your vessel for the day is a 30' Butt Cat with room for 6 passengers. Powered by 2 300HP V6 4.2 lt motors.  All gear, equipment and harnesses are included.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Water and soft drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with Fishing Valhalla?

Roland's Vallhalla a second to none fishing machine and experience!
Full Day Trip – Offshore (Shared) on March 11, 20261 adult

Incredible Tuna fishing charter experience, captivated with Rolands fishing and local waters knowledge from the majestic Hout Bay harbour. Roland's boat The Vallhala is a state of the art fishing weapon of a hunting machine and second to none sonar technology and big game fishing equipment. A once in a lifetime fishing experience and will be back for more……Yellowtail next season! Rolands shared charter was a godsend for me on holidays here on my own, Roland pulled out all the stops to make this incredible experience happen for me. Dankie bru!
