If you plan on fishing in Cape Town, look no further than Fishing Valhalla. We deliver world-class deep-sea experiences where guests safely and confidently pursue the giants of the Atlantic, guided by passion, precision engineering and owner-led commitment to excellence.
Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Skipjack, Yellowtail Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, and more can be found in these waters, depending on conditions. On these trips, it’s common to use multiple techniques including trolling, drift baiting, popping and topwater stick-baits.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
Your vessel for the day is a 30' Butt Cat with room for 6 passengers. Powered by 2 300HP V6 4.2 lt motors. All gear, equipment and harnesses are included.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Water and soft drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
