We had an absolutely amazing time fishing with Captain Benny Hendrix! 🎣 It was a two-hour trip to celebrate my father’s birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Captain Benny was a fantastic captain, made the trip so much fun, and was wonderful with the kids. We caught a bunch of fish and even landed two sharks! 🦈 The kids had an absolute blast and are already asking when we can do it again! It was such a fun, memorable way to celebrate my father’s birthday, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Captain Benny, for an incredible trip! We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun family fishing adventure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We booked a 3 hour charter 9-12, after an awesome picture in front of Ft Clinch and a tour near Cumberland Island we pulled up at our first spot. It had a lot of catfish so Capt Benny immeadiately moved us a little ways away and Bam! We were on the fish; Whiting, Spot fish, Jacks, and even a few Bonnethead sharks! Everyone in the boat caught a bunch of fish, we then moved on to go after the big dawgs. Chunk bait in deeper water and we hooked into 2 good sized sharks. Everyone got a turn pulling on them and we got both to the boat. Capt. Benny was a great help to everyone, being born and raised in the area he had a ton of local knowledge and knew all the spots the fish like to hang out. Also just a great guy to spend a few hours with. All in all an amazing trip, we all made awesome memories and we would absolutely book Capt. Benny again!

Captain Benny was delightful; from the minute my family arrived at the bait shop he made us feel welcomed and safe. From charming stories about his past to endless jokes and anecdotes to keep the mood light, Benny is a full professional. There is no one I would have felt safer captaining myself and my family. Four hours flew by as Captain Benny took us around Amelia Island. With an impromptu tour, Benny was full of surprises. He truly cared about making my family’s experience worth while. There was not a moment where I regretted making room for Captain Benny on my trip and I can bet that you won’t either.

Captain Benny was fantastic — knowledgeable, informative, and had us on fish right away. We landed about a dozen fish, brought our catch into town, and had a local spot cook it up into some amazing fish tacos. Great bonus on the out: we spotted a military submarine coming into port, which was a really cool first for me. Captain Benny made the whole trip smooth and fun from start to finish. he was patient with the kids on how techniques and everyone had a rod in thier hand at all times. Highly recommend booking with him if you want a productive, enjoyable day on the water!

We enjoyed our trip ! This was our 2nd time saltwater fishing but our first with heavy hitters. Captain Benny was great ! He was VERY knowledgeable and great with our 3 kids!He took the time to teach our kids about saltwater fishing . We fish fresh water and of course that definitely different. We caught 25 whiting, 2 Bonnethead sharks and a couple of saltwater catfish . It was great day on the water. Definitely would recommend him for anyone looking to do some saltwater fishing. Will book again if we are down that way again.

My husband, son (visiting from out of town), and I had an amazing time with Captain Benny on our 4-hour fishing tour. I was blown away by how accurately he predicted the size and species of fish we had on our hooks based on how the lines were behaving. He was always spot on! Not only did we catch our lunch for the day, but Captain Benny recommended we take the fish to The Salty Pelican to prepare it for us. We did that just an hour after the charter, and it was delicious! We learned so much about the area and he kept us all laughing. He also took photos for us so we could remember this time together. Captain Benny was an incredible host, and we’ll definitely be booking with him again!

We had an amazing day on the water with Captain Benny! Our group of three—including our 13-year-old son—had an absolute blast. Captain Benny was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He not only helped us catch a ton of fish (some really big ones that gave us a great fight!) but also pointed out interesting local landmarks and shared cool facts about the area along the way. We’ve done other charters before, but Captain Benny really stood out by going the extra mile. He took tons of great photos throughout the trip, so we could focus on fishing and having fun. Even better, we had all the pictures before we even got back to the dock! He also put a special emphasis on our safety and comfort the entire time, which made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. The trip was fun, relaxed, and memorable from start to finish. Highly recommend booking with Captain Benny if you’re looking for a great inshore fishing adventure! We will definitely be fishing with Captain Benny again when we have the chance to return to Amelia Island!

Captin Benny was great! He was very knowledageable anout the island and the fish as well. he knew where to go so that he was sure wed catch something and the kids loved it. every time we put a rod in the water we were realing in right back in. We threw lots of fish back in tge water but we took home 22 whiteing fish! Cant wait to get home and cook them up. The experience was amazing and my kids have already asked to do it again!

Captain Benny made our two hour fishing experience with our kids (10,8,5) unforgettable! We caught over 10 bonnethead sharks, sea bass, cat fish, whiting fish… he was patient with the kids and was just as excited as we were when we reeled one in. He was knowledageable of the area and pointed out landmarks to us. Our kids still havent stopped talking about it!

We did the sunrise two hour fishing trip. We had a great time and each caught over ten fish! Benny was very informative about amelia and cleaned the fish for us, we took them home for a good meal! Nice equipment, nice boat, great trip!!! Perfect for all ages and i recommend the sunrise trip the most because the sunrise was unforgettable!!! Thanks Benny!!!
