Truly an experience that your kids will tell all their friends about as soon as they get back home! Well, that’s how it would have worked back in our childhood days, but now the kids’ friends will be looking at photos before you’re even off the boat! Treat your family to this exciting adventure!
When you visit Hilton Head Island, SC contact Dolphin Discoveries Nature Tours & Family Shark Fishing. Whether the kids are 5 or 8 and reeling in 1-2 footers, or your harder-to-please teenagers are on board and we go to the holes where the 3,4 and even 5 footers hang out either way, the kids will be full of smiles!
Our 22’ Carolina Skiff is made for recreational boating and fishing. It’s a great boat to catch some Sharks, stop to see a few dolphins, and enjoy all the beautiful scenery Hilton Head has to offer! This charter can accommodate a group max of 6 guests(Generally, we fish 4 rods max at a time), although ...less people(or with children) gives more room to move about.
Whether a Hammerhead, Bull Shark, Blacktip, or maybe a huge Ray putting up the fight of a lifetime, it’s Hilton Head fun at its best! Our Captains have kids themselves that love to go fishing with their dads on their days off so you won’t be dealing with the old salty fishing guy that does most of the fishing for you. These guys love seeing the excitement on your kids’ faces just like they see on their own kids!
Teens and children are more than welcome and the crew is very enthusiastic to teach them to fish. For Dolphin Discoveries and Family Shark Fishing, it’s all about summer fun and the kids! Of course, an enthusiastic adult group we love to have as well! All fishing gear, bait, and licensing are included.

4hr Shark & Dolphin (12:30)
Knowledgeable captain with a great attitude!
Captain Craig greeted us at the dock like an old friend we hadn’t seen in a while. Immediately he welcomed us onboard the boat and got us settled with a thorough but brief safety talk. He inquired about our familiarity with fishing and met us with excitement for our trip. Craig took us to a few different spots where my son caught a few small black fin sharks, but the memory of a lifetime was when he fought and reeled in an eight foot bull shark! We were able to collect a few very unique shells and then met a dolphin that followed us back to the docks. We will definitely be back and will hope to book another adventure with Captain Craig!

3 Hour Trip – Shark (4:30)
“Non-Stop Shark Action and Amazing Wildlife Experience!”
I booked a trip with Shark and Dolphin Cruise and it was an incredible experience! The first mate, Ian, was absolutely awesome—he was constantly on the move, setting up reels as we were catching sharks left and right. He knew exactly what he was doing and could easily identify each shark we caught—from hammerheads, blacktips, bonnetheads, to lemons. His knowledge really added to the trip. I’ve been on quite a few nearshore and offshore trips, but I have to say the captain’s handling of the waves was outstanding. We were a little offshore when two of the kids started to feel sick from the rougher water. The captain didn’t hesitate—he quickly packed up and got us to calmer, smoother waters. You could tell he was incredibly experienced and knew the waterways like the back of his hand. On top of the great fishing, the wildlife we saw made the trip even more special—crabs, turtles, and tons of dolphins put on a show for us. Honestly, this trip exceeded expectations from start to finish! If you made it to the end of this you will not be disappointed booking with this crew!! Enjoy and happy fishing!

Great time! Caught lots of sharks! Totally recommend!
Captain Craig was fantastic. We booked a 3 hour shark fishing tour with my wife, 10, 7, and 3y/o boys. We caught 6 sharks and hung out with the local dolphin population. It was exactly what we wanted! Captain Craig was great with the kids and had us on a shark with the quickness! Definitely recommend!
