Uprising Tours is open for business and ready to show you a great time while adhering to all the safety protocols.
Operating out of the breathtaking San Pedro, Belize, Uprising Tours Fishing specializes in fishing and snorkeling charters. Captain Eric Henkis’ main goal is to provide his customers with a unique adventure perfectly tailored to their needs.
His boat is a 25’ custom-built skiff that can cater to up to 6 anglers of all experience levels. Powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine, it comes with a fighting chair, a live bait tank, an ice-box, and top-notch navigational and safety gear.
The captain will show you the hottest reef, inshore and offshore spots and the most efficient trolling, spinning, and bottom fishing methods. Depending on the bite, your hit list will include Cobia, Barracuda, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Grouper, and an incredible variety of Snapper. The minimum age for these trips is 4.
Spearfishing is also an option on full day trips if you let the captain know in advance. The minimum age for spearfishing is 9 and you’ll mostly be focusing on Lobsters.
Snorkeling is available on half-day trips for an hour and the captain will provide all the gear upon request. All the other equipment, including top professional tackle, live bait, and lures are also provided. Refreshments, catch cleaning, and licenses are covered by the charter as well. Snacks and lunch are included on full-day trips – you’ll get to enjoy the famous catch of the day beach cookout (preferably Snapper).

Half-day reef fishing
Had an awesome day on the water with Uprising Fishing Company. The crew was super friendly and knew exactly where to go for the best catch. The boat was clean and well set up, and everything felt really safe and organized. Whether you’re new to fishing or have done it before, they make it easy and fun. Half Day Trip – Reef Fishing (AM)
Great day in paradise
We had such a good morning with Captain Dillon and Robert! If I could have kept my fish hooked we would have had a boat load of fish. But Robert helped us out. The “poor man’s Marlin” was a hit. I’ve never seen such a fish. We had plenty of fish for us to have a few meals. I can’t say enough good things about this trip or this beautiful part of God’s creation!

Great experience!
We had an amazing fishing trip with Dillon and Robbert! They were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. They knew exactly where to go and were super patient and helpful every step of the way. You can tell they love what they do and genuinely want everyone to have a great time. Half Day Trip – Reef Fishing (AM)
Legendary fishing trip
Dylan and Mario led us on a reef fishing half day and had us hooked up immediately. We caught several barracuda, several snapper and almost 50 yellow jack. The action was non stop and a total blast. Could not recommend more. They are very skilled at what they do and give clear and helpful instructions. We took several fish to the nearby restaurant Sandy Toes who cooked them up for us!

Half Day Trip – Reef Fishing (PM)
We went catching!!
Eric and his crew made fishing so easy and fun for us first timers. We did a half day of reef fishing and he took us to a few spots where the bite was insane! We caught almost 30 fish and were able to take them to a local restaurant for dinner. They also were accommodating to my brother who has a disability and made sure he had a great time as well which we really appreciate. Fishing with Eric and taking the fish to Palapa Bar for dinner ended up being the highlight of our trip. Thanks Eric for the great day!
