If you're ready to have fun fishing in Wilmington, we've got you covered with Whipsaw Charters.

Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, king Mackerel, and more depending on conditions.

On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Trips with Whipsaw Charters are kid-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 42' Offshore sport fishing with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Whipsaw Charters!

Fantastic Time!
4 Hour Nearshore Trip (AM) on April 30, 20265 adults

This trip was a borthday event for my brother and the Captain and 1st Maye were awesome. The weather did not look promisng but they got is on some bonito, blues and mackeral. All 5 of us landed multiple fish. The crew was lively, frinedly and professional. A storm was heading towards us and the Captain kept us informed of the changing conditions and kept everyone safe. This was my brothers 1st time saltwater fishing and my 3rd and it was perfect for both. i highly recommend this boat and crew and would absolutely book them again without hesitation! Thanks again for a wonderful time and the memories!

We had an amazing morning of fishing. Captain Robbie and Reese knew exactly what to do and took care of everything. We caught more Atlantic Bonita than we knew what to do with!
