Catch and Cruise NC
Catch and Cruise NC welcomes you to the stunning waters of Wilmington. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Gabriel knows them forwards and back.
There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, Bluefish, Skipjack, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Vermilion Snapper, Scup (Porgy), Bull Shark, and more, depending on the season. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's bow-fishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks!
Your vessel for the day is a 29' World Cat that can carry up to 6 passengers (4-5 for best comfort). It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some bottled water on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

4 Hour Trip – Nearshore (Mid Day)
Solid Trip! Gabe Knows His Stuff!
Went out with Captain Gabe for a 4-hour inshore trip and had an awesome time. Super chill guy, but also really knowledgeable, you can tell he’s been doing this a while. He put us right on the fish within the first 30 minutes. Caught a mix of snook and mangrove snapper, and even hooked into a nice redfish. Boat was clean, gear was solid, and Gabe was super patient showing my buddy (first-timer) how to cast and handle the rod. If you're looking for a no-BS fishing trip with a captain who actually knows the local waters and wants you to have a good time, book with Gabe. We’re already planning to come back for a full-day offshore next time.

6 Hour Trip – Nearshore (Early AM)
Sunrise fishing trip!
Absolutely loved this experience! The sunrise was stunning, the water was calm, and our guide was fantastic, super knowledgeable and friendly. We caught plenty of fish and learned a lot. Totally worth the early wake-up. We booked a half day, near shore charter and the kids had a blast catching Spanish mackerel and Gabe even cleaned our catch, while we had lunch at a restaurant on the water. Thanks again! I will be recommending you to friends!

5 Hour Trip – Sharks (Late Morning)
Awesome time captain helped us and the kids alot.
This was one of the best times on a charter we've ever had. I've been on a few of them myself, but this was my son's first one. The captain made it very memorable. We all caught sharks, and other different species we ask to see. Everyone had a good time kids included. I'm not sure exactly what we were hoping for exactly. I do know that it was definitely more than that though I'd definitely book here again.
