Captain Ron offers a personal fishing experince you wont find on large head boats welcoming anglers of all exerince levels. Everything needed to make your special day is included except food and drinks. All you have to do is walk on the boat. Our line up of custom rods, high end reels and tackle will have you covered. It's a good idea to bring sunscreen, a pair of sunglasses and dress appropately. he also provides ice in the boats built in coolers. Unlike the large head boats he does not bring you back to the dock after your limit. You will continue to catch and release as the time you pay for is the time you get on the water. He even takes photos through out the trip which he sends to you immediatley after to capture your special day.
Capt. Ron prides himself on running a clean and well-maintained boat. His brand new 25' boat is sized to handle the Chesapeake while also allowing you to get in skinny water or chase blitzing fish in open water on the boats spacious fishing decks. His new boat is completely rigged with all of the new electronics and accessories to handle fly or light tackle anglers. He also owns and operates the largest independent light tackle saltwater fishing rod company on the east coast, JLS Rods LLC.
The captain puts emphasis on being outdoors and experiencing a total fishing experience, not just bringing something home in a cooler. He's also dedicated to conservation, working to restore and enhance the Chesapeake as he feels it's important to give back more than he takes. A 15-20% tip is customary to show the captain appreciation for his hard work if you had a good time and his services of fish cleaning, boat maintenance, cleaning and rigging.

My 3 kids and I went on the family trip and we torn em up. We had such a great time and made lots of memory’s I fish a lot and Ron and his wife are top notch they had us on fish as soon as we stopped and we caught fish up until it was time to head back. They also were very helpful with the fish. Action packed three hrs for sure. Would recommend this to family or a group of guys as well. Will be back!!!

As soon as we left the dock, still dark out, Captain Ron had us on the fish. He is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what tackle to use for each species of fish we were looking for. When we had our Rockfish limit he took us to different areas for more fish. There was never a dull moment. I would recommend JLS Light Tackle Guide Service to anyone who wants to have a great day on the water.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
