Marisol Sportfishing is a 33 foot Tiara Sportfisher with twin diesel engines. We have all the latest electronics and safety is a priority.

Our charter is perfect for families! We welcome anglers of all ages and all skill levels, ensuring a fun and safe fishing experience for everyone. So if you are new to fishing, don't worry, we've got you covered! Because our beam (width)of the boat is almost 13' there is so much room in the back that everyone will have plenty of room to fish.

FISHING GEAR IS INCLUDED..This is huge however bring your own if you have it. Prices listed is for the entire boat.

Capt. Ron aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so once you book, let him know what you're after! Our Coronado Island and full day trips aren't timed. If the fish are biting, we are fishing!

You'll be fishing from a 33’ Tiara sport fisher with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a walk in bathroom with freshwater sinks and ice box. The price of your trip includes fuel, ice and rods/reels. Fishing licenses need to be purchased.

If you are traveling from out of town, your fish can be dropped off at a processor where they fillet, vacuum seal, and flash freeze your catch. It will then be boxed with dry ice in a cooler which will allow you to take it with you either by car or airline.

Had a great time with Ron. Super nice guy and he had us right on the fish. This was the easiest, low stress trip we have taken. Ron answered when we called and helped us plan a trip just a few days later. Wife and I were out for my 40th Birthday. Bringing a decent haul of rockfish and lingcod home for Christmas dinner this year. Totally worth it and am already planning a summer tuna trip for next year. Thanks Ron! Safe and responsible operator. Responded right away. Planning on another trip. Great person.

Fun Day on the Water with Marisol Sportfishing

We had a great time with Marisol Sportfishing! Captain Ron was awesome, very respectful, fun, and made sure we were taken care of the whole trip. My crew altogether caught 18 Rockfish, which was exciting and made the day a success. Captain Ron really delivered and kept the energy positive throughout the experience. The only downside was that the toilet wasn’t working, which was a bit of a bummer. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we had a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend Captain Ron if you’re looking for a solid fishing trip.

Professional, Kid-Friendly, and Fun – A+ Fishing Experience

My daughters, wife, and I wanted to try saltwater fishing and found Ron online. He was an absolute pleasure to fish with! We caught around 20 fish in just five hours. Ron was fantastic with my kids, patiently teaching them how to use the fishing rod and reel in their catches. Unfortunately, my wife experienced severe motion sickness, but Ron was incredibly helpful and even provided her with medication to ease the discomfort. Overall, it was a great experience. When the fish weren’t biting, Ron didn’t hesitate to move the boat multiple times, using his fishfinder to locate better spots. We truly appreciated his effort and professionalism!

Great Experience on the Water

We had an epic time on the water. Ron was just a great personality to have guide us on the waters off La Jolla. We caught some unexpected fish, and my son pulled in two fish at a time, twice. Highly recommend, and great for families.
