Captain Rockholt has fished Biloxi’s waters all his life. Whatever fish you want to catch out of these waters, Captain Rockholt knows how to help you get it. A family guy that loves to fish with his family. He can accommodate your crew by ensuring a whole lot of fun and that some treasured memories will be made.

You’ll be fishing on a 21’ Key Largo boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This center console is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and reaches the speed of 30 knots. She’s powered by Garmin navigational electronics, safety gear, and a live bait tank. No matter what fishing grounds you visit, you can count on a safe and reliable ride.

Whether you want to bottom fish for Red Snapper, troll for Mackerel, jig for Cobia, or fish more inland for Redfish, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout, your captain will put you on fish. Most of the trips are available year round and you don’t need previous fishing experience for them.

Your captain will bring all fishing equipment, including live bait, lures, rods, and reels. He also covers your fishing licenses and fresh water on the boat. Feel free to bring other beverages and food and don’t forget your sun protection.

Best trip ever!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore on August 2, 2025 • 2 adults • 1 child

We (2 adults, 1 5 yr old) went out with captain Ryan on Saturday August 2nd. We started the day catching our hearts content of white trout. The bite was endless. Everytime the bait hit the water, the fish would smack it. This was great for our son because we didn’t have to wait very long for a bite and the fish was small enough for him to reel, but big enough for it to have resistance and be fun. After catching 25 white trout, we switched to trolling because we were trying to target Spanish mackerel. This was the first time we trolled for fish and it was pretty fun. We caught two big jack crevalle (only landed one) and a pretty nice size Spanish mac. 10/10, would recommend. We will be back. See you next time, Captain Ryan!

Our first fishing trip but surely not our last

We booked a last minute fishing trip for our first time to do salt water fishing. Captain Ryan had great communication, well organized, and very kind and patient with us. We brought our son friend who has never touched a fishing pole and he took great care of him and he was the first to catch and caught the most. He took great care of us and we highly enjoyed our trip. We look forward to our future trips. We highly recommend Captain Ryan for your first or next fishing trip.

8 Hour Trip – Snapper on June 3, 2025 • 1 adult • 1 child

You won’t regret booking with Captain Ryan. This isn’t his first rodeo. Right off the bat I could tell he was a seasoned Captain with experience which put me at ease. We started the day off going after Red Snapper. He warned us that the water would be rough but we could get after them if we were up for it. He took us 24 miles out and sure enough we caught our limit quickly. The wind and tide got worse and he recommend heading back in a little ways and trolling. Captain Ryan took the time to show my son how to tie a uni knot and had him do it himself, along with picking out the color of spoon to use. My son hooked up on 4 Spanish Mackerel. As weather conditions continued to change we decided to head back and finish the day with some in shore fishing. My son caught a couple of black drum and a few other species. It was a fun packed day that my son and I will always remember. The reason I chose Captain Ryan to book with was because I read so many great reviews of him and how great he was with kids. He didn’t disappoint and if we’re ever in the area again we wouldn’t book with anyone else.

My son and I had a great time fishing with Captain Ryan (Biloxi Boy Charters). We were on the fish early and Captain Ryan kept us on them all day. We caught multiple species of fish while learning about the Gulf Coast and its waters. We caught some big ones! We intended to catch and release but Captain Ryan has connections around town, so we kept a few took them to a local restaurant and they cooked them for us anyway we wanted them. The catch was more than we could eat so we had a good time feeding several people around us. Needless to say, we made a few friends. Captain Ryan was amazing, perhaps the best thing I can say is that we booked a fishing trip and came away feeling like we made a new friend and catching fish was just a bonus! Great trip, good people, a ton of fun. We'll be back soon!

We had an amazing time. Ryan was absolutely incredible. Very light hearted relaxing trip. We caught over a dozen fish.Ryan gave us recommendations of places to go to have them cook it for us and some recipes too! And the bean bag chair was definitely for the win! Perfect sized boat and very comfortable! We come back to Biloxi we will be seeing Ryan again! Was the perfect Father’s Day suprise!
