Russell Outdoor Guides is all about fishing the stunning waters of Gainesville. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jerry is prepared to put you on fish.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Striped Bass, and more, depending on the time of year.
On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Jerry also offers fly fishing and for the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to take with you, with some trophy fish being catch-and-release only.
You'll step aboard a 20' Trophy center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Jerry Russell has more than 40 years of fishing experience. We conduct both fishing and bowfishing trips out of two boats near Cumming Georgia. We do trips for Striped Bass and trophy Largemouth in large lakes, rivers, and private trophy Bass ponds. We also provide bowfishing trips at night out of an all-LED boat WITHOUT a noisy generator. All equipment is provided for both fishing and bowfishing adventures.
