Rock N Reel Charters – The 3rd Rock
Hoping to catch some fish in Ludington? Rock N Reel Charters is here to make it happen! Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Scott is prepared to put you on fish.
Lake Trout, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, and more could be biting at the right time of year.
For these species, you're likely to troll using heavy tackle.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, uou are required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid the glass bottles.

We had a fantastic time catching salmon with Captain Scott and Captain Don. We’ve never fished on Lake Michigan and didn’t have high expectations - we figured we would be doing well to catch 1 or 2. Boy, were we wrong! We caught 12 salmon and probably could have caught more if they hadn’t given us time to recuperate from the rapid succession of reeling in fish. The captain is excellent and the boat and gear are great. I would highly recommend this charter to anyone seeking an amazing fishing trip.

thanks for joining us- it was a lot of action and a beautiful morning.

 Both captains were awesome!

Thanks for fishing with us Jeff. you guys were fun to have aboard the 3rd Rock! Hope to see you agian!
I grew up fishing with both of my grand fathers. As a youngster I spent hundreds of hours trolling for walleye and pike in remote waters of Canada. Why drive past some of the greatest fishing in Michigan? Now I create experiences with all of you to enjoy.
