I took my girlfriend for her 38th birthday to catch some salmon! Captain Zach was the absolute best!! We went on a Saturday morning and there were several other boats out there fishing. I think we saw maybe one of two other boat catch anything… Captain Zach knew how to put us on thr fish! We snagged THREE! One of them was wild so we had to put back, the other slipped away at the last minute but my girlfriend reeled in a 17 pounder!! Such a great experience!!
Zach was an amazing caption on our trip unfortunately we had to leave a little early due because my girlfriend wasn't feeling well and we where only out the for 2 hours but within those two hours we caught 4 giant king salmon and Zach was extremely nice about everything and showed us how to setup and catch these beautiful fish. I've been salmon fishing before and never had any luck and was sceptical on even booking but I had to get myself 1 king and when I saw the gear Zach was using i had confidence and sure enough we caught a lot I couldn't recommend this charter enough
We were hoping to land some chinook, unfortunately they weren’t cooperative. only a few sightings and one we hooked got away. We decided to switch gears to sturgeon and Zach was very nice to tap into all his resources to put us on a couple of nice sturgeon.
Cpt. Shirely was great! Super informational and over just a great host. I highly recommend.
Location is breathtaking. Fish were biting like crazy. Captain and crew were awesome. They know the river and the fish. Even though some of us were hooking fish, they made sure to adjust the lures and bait so that all of us were getting bites. Would recommend this location and this Captain to any and all. Rowdy is the best deck hand ever!!! (Sorry John…)
