Based out of Sneads Ferry, Atlantic Blue Charters has everything needed for a fun-filled day fishing these waters!
Capt. Drew is obsessed with fishing, and he'll go above and beyond to show you an outstanding experience. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 4 to 12-hour trips, you can target species like King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Seabass, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, and Wahoo, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
You'll be fishing from a 34 caymas boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. Only boat in the topsail/sneads ferry area with a seakeeper 2!! With the seakeeper and the hual design. It makes for a very very smooth and dry ride. Having the seakeeper will make a rough day feel flat! It also includes a toilet, ice box, and wireless trolling motor. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain, so you don't have to worry about it.
Everything that is in season and of legal size is fine to put in the icebox! Capt. Andrew runs trips together with his first mate, who's there to help you with whatever you may need. Mates work off of tips, 20% customary. Due to high fuel cost a 10% fuel surcharge will be added to offshore and Gulfstream trips. This will be dropped once fuel price drop as well. There will be complimentary drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer. Non-glass bottle beer is fine, no hard alcohol please! Kids are welcome aboard, so bring them along and come enjoy some family time together.

Our fishing day sarted out with 3 fish on, on the first troll. but with two inexperienced customers on board, we had to return to shore because they were very seasick. I do believe the fishing day would have been monumental if we could have stayed. But 4 fish, with probably a combined weight of 200lbs in 1 1/2hrs of actually fishing i won’t complain and will definitely be back and suggest.
We caught some nice big King Mackerel trolling. Then bottomed fish where the bate hit the bottom and you had a bite. We caught lots of nice hog fish and sea bass. Many other kinds of fish and my wife caught a 4 ' leopard shark....Andrew is a GREAT captain and knows where the fish are and how to catch them..Best fishing ever. .
Fish were not biting as hope but trip was excellent. Dre and Benz were excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend them. Thanks for a great time.
Drew was awesome! He put us on fish and was very helpful with making sure all 5 of us were constantly catching fish. I highly recommend using ABC!
