Island Catch Charters is located on Jekyll Island and wants to show you an unforgettable fishing day you'll want to share with family and friends!
Capt. Chris is highly experienced and aims to provide an excellent excursion, one your group will remember for years to come. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning. This involves 3 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Whiting, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, and Cobia, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 26' Carolina Skiff boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features an ice box and a wireless trolling motor. Aboard the vessel, you'll enjoy the breathtaking views, relax and connect with nature.
All rods, reels, terminal tackle and bait are included in the price so you can focus on fishing. Your trip will also have all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You can keep anything you catch as long as it's legal to do so. Children are welcome aboard, so bring the whole family and get the young ones started with fishing. Kids never forget the wonderful feeling of reeling in their first catch.

June 10th we went out with Captain Chris at 8am and had a truly amazing time. It was me, my 12 and 9 yr old boys and my friend and his 11 and 8 yr old boys. Captain walked the boys through exactly what to do and helped guide them when they had a fish on the line. We caught 4-5 sharks ranging from 2’ - 4’+ and 2 sting rays 2-3’ in diameter. On the way back to the dock we met a pod of dolphins and stopped to observe them. It was so cool. The boys have said this is the best part of our vacation. Thanks again Captain Chris! Awesome boat and equipment. Your wealth of knowledge and guidance with the kids made the trip and memories very special.
I always wanted to get my kids out making memories fishing like I did at their age. Captain Chris definitely delivered, and had the kids having fun every step of the way. From taking a small detour to watch a pod of dolphins. To ensuring the kids where involved even when it came to baiting. My kids where's laughing and having fun the whole time. When the hits started coming he made sure the whole family was having fun. Helping our smaller anglers reel in their catch to making sure me and my wife where doing exactly what we needed to do. I can definitely say we had the greatest time.
Cant recommend enough. we hit about 40 keepe fish or more in the time slot. He got my crew of teens and young daughter and oldest son to all smile laugh. most importantly we caught fish all day. his instinct and knowledge was very impressive and cant thank him enough for all the amazing views, memories, laughter and just all around great trip. Cant say enough good things. Thanks Capt! Will be back again and again Ps nicest fishing charter boat we have been on!! almost forgot to mention the boat!!! Absolutely beautiful charter boat. Comfortable and clean basically smoothest boat I have been on. Made me feel fancy

Capt. Chris did a great job putting us on some keeper fish! He communicated good before the trip and was very flexible to our changing schedule. He was on time and we had lines in the water within 25 minutes. He gave us plenty of tips and did a great job cleaning our catch. If you are looking to limit out hes not your guy, but if tou want to fish with an experienced Captain who cares about your experience, he us your man!
Wonderful experience. Captain Chris was very responsive from the beginning of booking. We did the 4 hour with 2 male adults and 2 girls, ages 7 & 11 and we had the option of adding two adult females the day of the trip. He was patient, kind and knowledgable. Everyone caught a couple of fish each and he was great about letting us get pictures. Thanks for a wonderful memory!
