Fish with the tournament winning boat Deep Sea. We are new to Fishing Booker but have over two decades of experience fishing the North Shore of Oahu. We do not do tours…fishing is much like hunting and landing fish is our top priority. Many of the captains/owners of other charter businesses in Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor have either worked under Captain Matt Gorman or have chartered Deep Sea in hopes of learning how to fish. If you choose to fish with Deep Sea, Matt will be your captain.

Deep Sea specializes in targeting Blue Marlin, Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna), Aku (Skipjack Tuna), Dolphin fish (Mahi Mahi), Ono (Wahoo), and Striped Marlin. There are less common species that can be caught like spearfish, Kawa Kawa (aka bonito) etc but they are less prevalent around the islands.

Our 31' sportfishing vessel is a Hawaiian Mosquito hull. It is one of the few Sportfishing vessels on the island with a hull designed specifically to fish Hawaiian waters. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Captain Matt ensures that all Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for use. Live bait may be caught at the start of the charter but that depends on the day and season.

A professional crew will help you fight and land the fish. It's customary to tip the captain & crew 15%–20% at the end of the day to show your appreciation.

The business covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle!

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids above the age of 9 are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Please bring whatever you may want to eat or drink. Sunglasses and sun protection is also a good idea.

Please note that the prices you see at check out do not include state (4.712%) and harbor taxes (3%) as well as applicable merchant service fees.
