American Angler Fishing 

We had a 3 hour trip this morning at 7 for my sons 11th birthday. Captain Ross is as good as they come. His gear and boat were immaculate and his knowledge of the fish and habits were apot on. He had us limited out on Reds in about 2 hpurs. He was an exemplary guide and super patient wirh my son and even gave us a little lesson on Red fish. Thank you again for an awesome trip. AND after years of hearing about the legend I finally got to meet Miss Judy she was everything I expected and more. I cannot aay enough how welcoming and friendly this outfit is. Not only did we have an awesome captain but the fishing was great and the experience was worth more. at the dock you get to see dolphins right up close and personal then enjoy a private one on one experience with an understanding and determined captain. we had a blast and came back with an amazing catching experience.

Our fishing trip was awesome! We caught red fish, flounder, and trout. Captain Ross was absolutely THE BEST! He was personable, knowledgeable, and put us on the fish. Boat and equipment were great. And we can't say enough good things about Miss Judy! She's a class act. It was the perfect day of fishing.

Captain Ross and his first mate Jack provided the best services possible during a charter. Captain Ross is an efficient and strategic captain who takes the time to game plan before hand to deliver the best fishing experience possible. No time wasted, he knew his spots and if one didn’t work out he did not hesitate to make a change. He aids to fishermen of all experiences whether novice or experienced. His first mate Jack was a huge aid on our trip and made sure we were more than equipped with what we needed whether a rag, new rig, or a hand. On top their excellent services, the bite was on today and they took full advantage of it. Can’t wait to get back out there with them! I highly recommend.

Captain Ross did a great job getting us on some fish throughout the entire charter. With it being a hot day and right after some heavy storms, I did not go into it expecting much, But it turned into a great day with me catching the trifecta! Thank you again Captain Ross!!

We caught our limit and went hunting for some monsters. My son hit a huge red 10-12 lbs. this was our first time fishing for reds .. it was a lot of fun pulling them in. Captain Ross had several great spots .. we caught fish at all of them. This was a summertime fishing trip. I would say the rods and boat were absolutely excellent. Boat ride was a lot of fun.

Captain Ross is an excellent fishing guide. He is experienced, knowledgeable, and knew where to find fish. He was professional, courteous, and provided top-notch equipment. We had a great experience and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a successful day on the water. We’ll definitely look him up next time we’re in Savannah.

My spouse and I are older and one of us was somewhat anxious about the trip. The unknowns — motion sickness, dangers, tripping and falling, concerns of not being able to complete the required tasks ……. Nothing was hard. Captain Ross ensured our day was easy, fun, memorable, safe, and successful. A family fish fry is scheduled. She wants to go again.

Had a great birthday trip with Capt Ross! We had to deal with cold conditions, 38 deg when we left the dock… His vessel is a nice skinny water Tunnel hull that can get places other boats can’t. He put us on Fish right away that were held up in a hole due to the cold. Caught a limit of reds and release a couple oversize! That was the hotspot for the day, we froze our cheeks off going from spot to spot without a lot of action the rest of the day but we got what we came for. Thanks Capt!

where do i start? this was a last minute plan but worth every penny! the guys casted and i reeled in ! of course you can cast if you want to! this was a trip for my husband and I so much needed time away but Ross was absolutely incredible! he was informative to everything i asked and attentive! we used our last dollar to book this so if preplanning bring tip money because im telling you its well deserved!! i WILL BE COMING BACK! we did catch a bunch , overall was a great experience!!
