Captain Vic's 42' d'Unienville' offshore sportfisher is powered by twin Caterpillar engines and equipped with a GPS and fishfinder to get you to the fish. It can accommodate up to 6 people and it features a stylish interior with plenty of seating and dining space, as well as a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a spacious flybridge. It is also fitted with outriggers and a center rigger to give you the best tools for the job.
Golden Wave Charters uses a variety of techniques on their charters, including trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, popping, kite fishing, handline fishing, and spearfishing. They use Shimano tackle and specialize in Blue Marlin, but also target a variety of game fish species, including Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Mako Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Reef Sharks and many more.

The captain and his crew are truly amazing, very friendly and efficient. The trip was worth every moment and I will strongly recommend this boat and crew to any one. An hour into our departure we hooked onto a yellowfin tuna, weighing 80kg and taking us 3hrs 45 min to land. The crew were very professional in landing this monster for us. At all times the crew were very professional and made us feel at home, offering us refreshments and asking if we were okay.
Golden Wave in Flic-En-Flac Mauritius is the ticket for the best possible fishing experience. Victor and his crew will go out of their way to ensure you have the best possible chance of catching that trophy fish. They exceeded our expectations

The boat is nice and the sunroof is perfect. The crew are helpful and forthcoming. We had a great day out on the sea, relaxing and chatting, enjoying the scenery while the fishing mostly took care of itself. When the fish took the hook, there was suddenly full action and we could haul in the catch. We got two Dorados, one big and one smaller.
Great day with the team. Sadly no fish but a truly professional team. Will definitely be back to try again.
