Depending on conditions, you might hook into Barramundi, Mangrove Snapper, Giant Trevally, Coral Trout, Narrow-barred Spanish Mackerel, Red Emperor Snapper, and plenty more. You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Jason also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Your adventure begins aboard a 20’ Sportsman Center console that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
