I had originally booked a salmon charter with another company, it was canceled the day before due to weather. I found Dave’s charter and was able to book a inland fishing trip with less than 24 hours notice. Dave knew the lake very well and put our group on the fish in less than 15 minutes on the lake. This was the best fishing trip our family has taken.  Dave was fun, helpful, a great teacher, and patient with the beginners in our group.  We caught so many fish- about 60 bluegill.  He offered to take us to numerous hot spots but we had so much fun in one spot that we stayed for most of our time.  He then took us out on Lake Michigan to see a shipwreck.  What a bonus!  When we came back to the dock he fileted all of our fish as part of his service.  We will definitely book with him again. ... Had an awesome time on my trip with captain Dave. Even in the tougher times of the day captain Dave and first mate were switching lures and changing locations to give us the best opportunity at filling our limit of salmon! Captain Dave is a great asset to the charter community. My experience with him was top notch from the initial emails and phones to the start of the trip. Captain Dave maintains a neat boat with everything ready. You literally step on the boat and head right out during the ride your cruising the shores of Lake Michigan. We took our 10-year-old nephew, salmon fishing. Captain Dave was Great with the nephew, listening and answering all his silly questions. He also did everything he could to get us in the fish even on a slow day.  We went home with more than our fill of salmon and trout! What a great experience!
