Healy Outdoors– Oneida Lake Walleye
Brewerton has a fish with your name on it, so let Healy Outdoors help you catch it!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Walleye, Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, White Perch, Freshwater Drum, and plenty more. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to be casting and jigging using light tackle.
Healy Outdoors welcomes kids aboard, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep ‘em happy!
Your excursion begins aboard an 18’ Lowe Dual console with a capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
