Whether you are a beginner or an experienced fisher, we can accommodate all of your fishing needs.
Around here, it's common to catch Dorado, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Bonita, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Sierra Mackerel, Snapper, and more, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to troll, go jigging, shore fishing, bottom fishing, casting, using light or heavy tackle.
Your adventure begins aboard a 23' Panga that holds up to 2 passengers. It has outriggers, new GPS and Fish Finder, Tuna Tubes & live bait tank, nice sound system with Bluetooth & FM capability, and all of the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods and reels are supplied for you - nice equipment! Before coming aboard, it is necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group @ $21 US each and live bait is purchased from the boat as we leave the harbor $30 US.
We will greet you at the start of your trip to discuss your trip, explain catch options, and introduce you to the Captain & boat. We will greet you upon your return to review your trip and your catch!
It's never a bad idea to dress in layers, bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. We supply water with every trip and can also add on food and beverages upon request.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with The Machine Sportfishing is just a click away.

we went out with The Machine and his first mate and had an incredible experience. we trolled for big fish, troll close to the shore for rooster and even went after bottom dwellers and had a trip of a lifetime. we caught five fish in total. flipjack, red snapper, pufferfish and trigger fish. The highlight though was a whopping 300lb Pacific Blue Marlin! in a Super Panga! Only the most experienced Captain and first mate could accomplish this heroic feat! Cheers to you, Machine! and to you Kevin for running such a flawless operation! ill be booking again for sure!

We had a great fishing trip today with our guides, Kevin and Martin. On our way out to the ocean, we caught two bonita, which was an exciting start. After that, the wind picked up and most of the trip slowed down, but Kevin and Martin didn't give up. They switched to Plan B and started targeting roosterfish, and we ended up landing an easy 30-pounder rooster fish! Kevin and Martin were very nice, helpful, and worked hard the whole trip to make sure we had a good experience. We really appreciate their effort and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fun fishing trip.
We caught a yellowfin tuna weighing around 40–50 kg. We originally planned to target roosterfish, but since the yellowfin tuna fishing was good, we decided to switch targets. They kept us updated in detail about the fishing conditions before the trip, which helped us prepare for the day. Thanks to their dedication, we were able to catch an incredible fish. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience.
Kevin with FishingBooker set up the trip. Kevin is an american, so there are no communication hurdles to jump. Very attentive, and stayed in touch before and after the trips. Armondo (sp?) was a great guide. Very good fisherman, and all around nice guy. Plenty of effort was put forth, it resulted in a nice blue marlin the first day, and a fat 60 pound roosterfish the second day, along with a smaller rooster and a jack crevalle. Overall, a perfect ten on the entire experience. I will book with Kevin and FishingBooker again.
My wife and I fish but usually inshore when together because she is uncomfortable in the ocean if the conditions arent ideal so I was concerned but chose El Pato Lucas mostly based on other great reviews. We have done other fishing charters on vacation but this was by far the best. Kevin and 'the machine' were friendly, knowledgeable, and I believe they were most concerned with us enjoying the experience. They asked us what we wanted to do so we decided to troll with lures and bait and then did some fishing with live bait close to shore They put us on the fish. Shortly after leaving the dock, I was surprised that we had 5 lines in the water and it didn't take long to get some hits. We were offered to fish for marlin (crazy number of boats fishing for them) but chose not to. We caught a number of fish, had bonus sighting of whales, and it was absolutely beautiful being on the water in Cabo. Within 30 minutes of docking, we were eating fresh Mahi Mahi at a restaurant that Kevin recommended. We already talked about a repeat trip next December.
