These waters are known for Bluefish, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!' You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Jeff will bring you aboard a 90' Headboat with capacity for 132 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle can be rented. Live bait is included but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

My second time out on the water with these folks and I had yet another great time. The crew was reponsive, making sure to help whenever our lines got caught in the rocks, and made sure to educate each angler on the legal keep limits. This was my nephew's first time on a fishing boat and the veterans were more than willing to lend a hand whenever he had any difficulties. My wife caught the biggest fish on the boat that trip! I'll be seeing these guys again soon for some more fishing adventures. Bobby & Fam
What an incredible experience! The crew was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional from the moment we stepped aboard. My kids, who are 10 years old, were fishing for the very first time. I was honestly worried they might not catch anything, but the crew made sure they had an amazing experience. Personally, the boat ride alone was worth it, but seeing the excitement on my kids’ faces made the trip unforgettable. They each caught more than 10 fish, and we had an absolute blast! Captain Jeff truly made the day special. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Every time someone caught a fish, he shared in their excitement, and it was obvious he loved seeing everyone having such a great time. I highly recommend Captain Jeff’s fishing charter, especially for families with children. The crew is knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and truly knows how to create a fun and memorable experience for everyone on board. We can’t wait to come back!
